Abstract
How much do we learn about God and about forgiveness when we are dealing with betrayal, infidelity and sin in the Body of Christ? This article argues that the forgiveness that God offers when confession derives from real self-knowledge is properly regarded as healing. And that healing is the restoration of balance in that sense that it will enable the minister to receive forgiveness and to begin a new phase of his spiritual journey, teaching the people about real forgiveness and sharing with them the painful journey of forgiveness.

Abstract
The dominion of the Spirit in the new realm of salvation is an vital element for having part in the eschatological life. The dominion of sin and death with its results in a mindset determined by the flesh is broken by the power of the Spirit of life which gives the covenant blessings to those who have a mindset determined by the Spirit.

Abstract
Our day ethic is somewhere debated, most of the time in attempt to define if there is a common base or there is no one due to the postmodernist influence. A view on ethics that is considered as conservative is the Christian Ethics, mostly due to the absolutes and Universalist views in ethics, views that are considered by most postmodernist as being outdated and inappropriate to impose to society. What are the differences between the Postmodern and Christian view on ethics? Are there any common grounds to build on? Is there an impact on Christian daily life and spirituality? To those questions and others that are not included, I will try to answer through this article in order to clarify this interaction between postmodernist view on ethics and Christian view on morals.

Abstract
One of the most profound subjects in the letters of Paul is the ministry of the Spirit in the believer. To have a good understanding of Paul’s teaching you need to take into consideration the literary devices and concepts used by Paul to describe the ministry of the Spirit. This article is a succinct analysis of the metaphors and comparisons (similarities and antithesis, paradoxes) used in Paul’s letters.

Abstract
From the very outset of Scripture, and therefore for those believing these Scriptures, the works of God are revealed and recognized. The Psalter teaches us to incorporate them in private and public worship, and to reframe and contextualize them for our day and age, the era of the mighty deed of building the church. What I meant to do in this paper is to call us to the Psalter for private devotions and liturgical gathering. To do so is to step liturgically into God’s story which is not science fiction, but historical participation.

The indirect purpose of this article is to identify those spiritual aspects that are supposedly viewed as starting points for the Evangelical movement in Romania, and to show that these suppositions are wrong if they are not described specifically.

Abstract
In this study the author will analyze two important Old Testament themes on which the author of the Fourth Gospel is building the meaning of his gospel narratives: 1) the theme of the suffering son and 2) the theme of the leaving prophet and the disciple remaining prophet. The study is analytical, based on specific Hebrew narrative parallelism, in which the sequences of a narrative provide a pattern for future biblical narratives. Based on the text, at the end the author will propose a literary paradigm for each theme. Finding internal narrative paradigms used in the Fourth Gospel is a valuable and fruitful exercise in terms of hermeneutic. The interpretation of the Fourth Gospel’s narratives is enriched by a correct understanding of the use of Old Testament literary and theological themes and also of the Old Testament narrative patterns.

Mesajul de Advent al Uniunii Bisericilor Creștine Baptiste din România
Ca și anul trecut, Uniunea Baptistă transmite credincioșilor un mesaj de adevent.
Pentru a înțelege ce este Adventul și care este rolul lui, reiau un scurt pasaj dintr-un articol al pastorului Elisei Pecheanu, numit Adventul. „Conform practicii bisericilor creștine cu patru săptămâni incluzând patru duminici înainte de sărbătoarea Crăciunului, a nașterii Mântuitorului, începe această perioadă speciala de așteptare o perioadă de pregătire atât sufletească cât și materială, administrativă, a fiecărui credincios și a fiecărei familii în vederea întâmpinării marii sărbători creștine.”

La multi ani, Daniel Mariș!
Daniel Mariș este rectorul Institutului teologic Baptist din București și profesor de Vechiul Testament în cadrul aceleiași instituții.
Profesorul Daniel Mariș s-a născut la data de 30 noiembrie, în orașul Curtici, județul Arad, într-o familie de credincioși baptiști.
În anul 1984 l-a mărturisit public pe Domnul Isus Hristos ca Mântuitor personal și în luna aprilie a aceluiași an, a fost botezat în Biserica Baptista din Curtici.
În anul 1989 a fost admis ca student la Institutul Teologic Baptist din București în cadrul căruia activează și în prezent ca profesor. După absolvire, în același an, 1993, a fost ales ca pastor al Bisericii Creștine Baptiste Golgota, alături de pastorii Liviu Țiplea și Ioachim Țunea, fiind mai apoi ordinat la data de 19 septembrie 1993.
Între anii 1996-1999, a urmat cursuri postuniversitare în cadrul programului de Master în Teologie la Colegiul „Regent’s Park College” din Universitatea Oxford, obținând titlul de Master în Teologie la Universitatea Oxford din Anglia. În anul 2006 a obținut titlul de Doctor în Teologie la Universitatea din București. Începând cu anul 2006 este membru al Langham Regional Council Board. În prezent slujește ca vicepreședinte al Comunității Creștine Baptiste de București și este membru în Consiliul de conducere al Cultului Creștin Baptist din Romania.
Din anul 1993, este căsătorit cu Daniela Cosmina, și Dumnezeu a binecuvântat familia lor în anul 1995 cu un fiu, Andrei Samuel și în anul 2005 cu o fiică, Naomi Beatrice[1].
Între anii 2004-2011 a fost secretar științific al facultății de Teologie Baptistă din Universitatea București. A fost vicepreședinte al Comunității Baptiste București (1999-2002) iar apoi președinte al comunității între anii 2002-2011. În data de 29 noiembrie 2011, Conferențiar universitar doctor Daniel Mariș a fost ales în funcția de Rector al Institutului Teologic Baptist din București[2]. În paralel cu activitatea profesorală la Institutul Teologic Baptist din București, Daniel Mariș este și profesor la facultatea de Teologie Baptistă din Universitatea București.
Profesorul Daniel Mariș a publicat următoarele cărți:

Protestul Cultului Creștin Baptist față de afirmațiile intolerante ale lui Gigigi Becali
În cadrul unor emisiuni televizate difuzate la postul România TV Gigi Becali a făcut declarații intolerante la adresa creștinilor evanghelici din România nominalizându-i pe baptiști. Acesta afirmă că baptiștii sunt o sectă și că el nu are nevoie de voturile lor. Cum candidează în sectorul 6 cred că nu o să primească voturile credincioșilor evanghelici care au drept de vot și și-l vor exercita în acest sector.

Sărbătoarea mulțumirii la Biserica Baptistă „Betania” Brescia
Ziua de duminică 25.11.2012 a fost ultima zi în care Biserica Baptistă „Betania” Brescia l-a avut ca şi invitat pe fratele Cristian Mihoc, pastor la Biserica Creștină Baptistă „Betel” Botoșani Alături de fratele pastor Cristian Mihoc, în această zi deosebită biserica „Betania” s-a bucurat și de prezența fratelui Aparaschivei Gheorghe de la Biserica Baptistă Română din Milano, care a adus un salut pentru biserică.
A fost un timp de mulțumire la adresa lui Dumnezeu, nu numai pentru această zi specială, ci şi o zi în care mulțumirea a fost pentru harul și mila Sa revărsată asupra noastră în fiecare zi. Fratele pastor Mihoc a avut ca şi temă a mesajului mulțumirea iar textele de referință au fost Psalmul 26:1-7 și Luca 17:11-21.
În Psalmul 26:6-7 David afirma că „Îmi spăl mâinile în nevinovăție … ca să izbucnesc în mulțumiri” . Pentru a putea spune și noi ca şi David, trebuie să trecem mai întâi pe la Golgota, și astfel curățiți și eliberați prin Cristos, putem izbucni în mulțumiri. În Evanghelia după Luca avem exemplul bolnavului de lepră care atunci „… când s-a văzut vindecat, s-a întors, slăvind pe Dumnezeu cu glas tare„. Şi noi, cei care am fost vindecați de lepra păcatului, suntem datori să aducem mulțumirile noastre la adresa lui Dumnezeu, dar nu oricum, ci luând exemplul leprosului vindecat de Domnul Isus mai întâi de boala fizică și apoi de cea a păcatului, și care a plecat mântuit.
„Binecuvântează, suflete pe Domnul și nu uita nici una din binefacerile Lui!” Psalmul 103:2
